SSC - Reducing Risks to People, Process and Technology in 2010

2009 has been relegated to the history books and most businesses are happy to see it gone. It was a year of enormous economic turbulence and financial challenge for business. The necessary program cutbacks and downsizing impacted all aspects of security, risk analysis and hazard mitigation. These cutbacks range from physical and I/T security, to specific assessment of risk and mitigation associated with both natural and human causes.

The biggest challenge for 2010 comes from the point of which these risks converge. With business under strain, there’s significant pressure to do more with fewer resources. Business leaders understand the increasing number and interaction of risks they face. To meet the needs of our clients in 2010 and beyond, SSC has evolved its Corporate Intelligence & Investigation practice to include enterprise risk management and mitigation, naming Michael W. Wanik, CPP, CBCP, Vice President of Consulting and Investigation.
